Marjorie Taylor Greene Steps in IT, Again!
What’s new for this woman? Will she ever learn how to be an actual Representative?
I was scanning over “X” this morning and ran across this post. I copied it, word for word, because I honestly couldn’t have said this any better!
First, I want to share what Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene’ post, then the reply from a very well versed gentleman. Here’s her post:
“The American people are the hardest working and most generous people in the world.
The United States Federal Government does not respect the American people and mistreats them horribly.
The government serves the entire world first and does not serve the American people at all!”
Now, the two replies from this gentleman:
“Marjorie Taylor Greene's claims that the U.S. government prioritizes international interests are contradicted by numerous domestic programs benefiting American citizens.
The Republican party's economic policies, particularly concerning the debt ceiling, have faced criticism for risking the nation's credit rating and potentially incurring billions in costs.
Fiscal legacies vary, with Clinton leaving a surplus, Bush and Trump significant deficits, and Obama navigating post-recession recovery. The impeachment inquiry against President Biden is viewed as a political sideshow, diverting attention from bipartisan issues like inflation, healthcare, addiction, gun violence, and climate change.
The GOP's opposition to policies such as minimum wage hikes, gun safety laws, taxing the wealthy, women's rights, campaign finance reform, Medicare expansion, Social Security adjustments, voter rights, childcare, climate action, drug price control, and corporate crime prosecution, contrast sharply with their repeated debt ceiling raises under Republican administrations.
This perceived disregard for public interest fuels a call to action for the 2024 elections, American voters should hold the GOP accountable.

“You👆, Marjorie Taylor Greene, disrespect the hard working American people as fools by 💯lying to them here multiple times a day. What have you done to help? For over 30 years, every time America has placed its trust in Republicans, they failed us.
Your statement that the government "serves the entire world first and does not serve the American people at all" is NONSENSE. The U.S. government has a wide array of domestic programs and initiatives designed to serve American citizens. To imply that it exclusively serves international interests at the expense of its own people is not only inaccurate but also dismissive of the government's many efforts to address domestic needs.
Economic Mismanagement: The debt ceiling antics have tangible repercussions, including potential credit rating hits that could cost billions.
The fiscal legacy includes President Clinton leaving a $63 billion surplus, contrasted with President Bush's deficit of $3.3 trillion, stemming from unpaid wars and the great recession.
President Obama's efforts to recover from the great recession, control unemployment, and protect homes from hedge fund vultures.
President Trump's term saw $1.7 trillion in tax breaks for the wealthy, a $7.8 trillion increase in our deficit, and limited tangible achievements beyond a 8 miles of new partial border wall, Mexico was supposed to pay for, and two impeachments.
Political Distractions: The contrived impeachment inquiry into President Biden is a transparent attempt to garner attention and raise funds, contributing nothing to solving real issues.
Bipartisan Concerns:
Inflation: Worries 77% of Republicans and 81% of Democrats.
Health Care Costs: A concern for both parties, with 73% of Democrats and a significant portion of Republicans affected.
Drug Addiction and Gun Violence: Issues that transcend party lines and impact Americans nationwide.
Climate and Environment, National Security, Foreign Policy: Critical areas of mutual concern for both parties.
Partisan Cooperation: There's a shared desire for more effective collaboration across party lines.
It's important to remember what the GOP voted against:
Minimum wage
Strengthening gun safety laws
Taxing the wealthiest firms and the super-rich
Guaranteeing freedom and equality for women
Ending the dark money in campaigns
Providing Medicare for all
Raising frozen Social Security benefits
Restoring voter rights
Funding childcare and sick leave
Fighting climate change with renewable energy
Reducing skyrocketing drug prices
Increasing funding to prosecute corporate crooks.
GOP has raised the debt ceiling 49 times under Republican presidents without a peep. The GOP was opposed to all of those. They take us for fools, but we will prove them wrong come 2024 elections.”
Excellent column, Daniel! It needs to be published on every social media platform that you are on. Democrats aren't getting the message out loudly enough when each and every one of them should be using the failures of the GOP to campaign on and highlight how GOP failures affect everyone, not just Democrats!
This is great Daniel....point these Repugs and their silly side shows antics to the door !!!!
Vote we must , show up folks , let’s SWEEP this House floor ....clean OUT with BLUE it’s so obviously needed ..I am so tired of their incessant blabber .
