No one ever told them you actually cannot eat concrete. It’s just not palatable for the human body.
The farmers didn’t even gain enough money to pay off their loans they had with the government. And yiu know ehat that meant. People don’t know that when they read the headlines that the USDA is providing billions of dollars to farmers who suffered disasters, of any kind, fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, whatever, it’s a damn loan!!! The government isn’t ‘giving’ anything to anyone. It’s a ‘low interest loan’ is all it is.
