Senseless Killing has to STOP!
For the second time in less than a week, guns in the hands of a deranged person takes lives.
This is getting ridiculous. Actually, it’s getting more than ridiculous ridiculous. It’s downright absurd.
What is it going to take for us to get our politicians in Washington DC to wake up and smell the coffee. Damn, people, it’s burning now.
Another six people killed in less than a week from a mass shooting. This makes eleven people that died in just mass shootings this week alone. And countless others injured. Some still in critical condition in hospitals.
We have to do something. This last shooting, as I understand the initial reports, was by a disgruntled ex-employee (assistant manager) that walked into the store with a semiautomatic pistol and numerous magazines of ammunition and just started shooting people. Then he turned the weapon on himself. The coward! Shooting defenseless people and then killing himself. At least he saved us tax money fir court costs and keeping his sorry behind in prison the rest of his stupid life.
But, it doesn’t give us answers.
A. Why? Why come into the store and just kill people at random?
B. His mental condition? Does anyone have any answers to this?
C. Could he have been stopped? Did anyone know his plan? A family member, maybe?
Bottom line, folks. We need to have a group look into these shootings from a different perspective, I think. Since our lawmakers refuse to do anything because they make millions and millions of dollars from the gun lobbyists, NRA, and other gun groups/companies, then we need to get to work on it ourselves.
A. Mental health specialist/Psychiatrist, Psychologist, all need to give input after they conduct intensive studies of all these incidents. Even medical doctors. Did these people suffer from some type of terminal illness that may have triggered these actions? Did this person show signs of mental illness in his/her history? These and many other medical issues need to be looked into.
B. Criminal history? Thus is an obvious question that needs answering. If there was a history of criminal activity, involvement with law enforcement, what was it? Was it serious enough for the person to be kept “on the radar” as a potential threat?
C. Lest I forget the religious aspect of this investigation/project. What was their religious background? If any? This is very important because it might show their frame of mind. Especially if they confided in their priest, pastor, rabbi, or spiritual leader/advisor.
This information needs to be gathered, and presented to “RESPONSIBLE POLITICIANS” to have responsible gun regulations written up and get passed, where the president will sign it into law.
We do NOT need automatic weapons sold to the public, under any circumstances.
We do NOT need ammunition for automatic weapons sold to the public, under any circumstances.
We do NOT need magazines for automatic weapons sold to the public, under any circumstances.
Sounds pretty simple to me. We need the manufacture of these weapons stopped unless it is for our military or law enforcement. There’s no need in it. If it’s not allowed to be sold to the public, under any circumstances, then it doesn’t need to be manufactured en mass for public sale.
