Tariffs, and Backlash from Other Countries

I want to discuss these tariffs today. I’m not really sure the American public really understands what is happening, or should I say, fixing to happen.

I did just a small amount of ‘deep diving’ into these tariffs, set up by Donald Trump, to ‘build America up’ in the world market. A few questions for you to ponder as I progress through this.

First, do you truly know what a tariff is. Short answer. It’s a tax. It’s just that simple. Now, last I looked, who ends up paying this ‘tax’? It happens to end up being us, the American people. That’s who. This ‘tariff’ charge is added to the goods being shipped into our country. That cost is passed onto the consumer by paying higher prices at the store. End of story.

It isn’t. Now, countries like India, Indonesia, Japan, and other countries that have tariffs imposed upon them to ship goods into the United States are actually looking to other countries to trade with. Break their trade with the United States to avoid paying those excessive tariff rates. Just today, on a news channel, the trade representative from Indonesia was interviewed. He was very straightforward about the tariffs. His country is looking to trade with other countries so they will not be shipping to the United States. Same thing with Japan, Korea, and others. Now, I don’t know about you. But our store shelves are going to become rather empty in the near future. We have been down this road before, if you recall. The store shelves were empty. Theirs just some things that are not produced, or grown here in the United States. Not to the extent to meet ‘supply and demand’ of the American people.

Now, the economy side of this. If you think for one split second that this will help our economy. I’ll sell you the best mountain land known to mankind located right in the Everglades!!!

This is going to totally destroy our economy. But, that’s actually what Donald Trump wants. He wants the economy to totally collapse. He will mss as ke a fortune. Right in his pocket. That’s how he does it. He did it before, he’ll do it again.

Trump is going to work on Congress to change the Constitution. He is dead set on bringing to stay in office. He wants this to become a ‘dictatorship’ and he becomes the first ‘King’. He has Congress in his pocket, right now. Up until the mid-term elections, unless special elections are held before then and we get Democrats in office. This brings into play states like Texas, Florida, Alabama, and other Republican Lee states. Florida has pushed through congressional maps and changed a lot if their districts to republican strongholds. Very few democratic led districts remain in Florida. Just a few years ago, Texas changed theirs. But now, just 4 years later, they are attempting to do it again. The map adopted just 4 years ago in Texas is still under appeal in the courts. Governor Gregg Abbott, a republican, is doing everything he can to turn Texas not a total red state, just like DeSantis did in Florida and Alabama did.

Well, we’ve covered the tariffs. Not good outcome even all our trade partners go elsewhere to trade. That’s fixing to happen.

We’ve covered election fraud, taking place in just about every Republican state in the country. The republicans are hell bent to stay in power, no matter how, laws be damned.
