One point of concern with our candidates first President this year is Child Care. Yes, there’s more topics of importance, and I’ll be writing on them later. But this can’t be passed up.
Good post, Daniel. Yeah, I don't think MangoMan has any plans that will work for child care (or much of anything else). Boy, what a debate tonight - the contrast between the two was dramatic! I'm so glad that Kamala is an option this election season. Keeping my fingers crossed that she'll win with a huge margin and do as good a job as I suspect she will.
She received a huge endorsement tonight right after the debate. Taylor Swift! 238 million followers, and within just a few minutes of her posting her endorsement, she had in excess of million ‘likes’.
I was glued to the tv the entire debate. Kamala absolutely destroyed Trump. Right from the time they were introduced, she took command of the stage, the debate, and him! He had no intention to shake her hand. He was going to go to his podium, and she cornered him forcing him to do something he didn’t want to do.
It’s amazing how he’s ready to walk up to any woman and grab their crotch, but he was afraid to approach her and shake her hand.
He never mentioned her name during the entire debate. Not once. Not dud he look at her. Actually, when the debate was over he was looking like an old beaten pup. He was all crouched over and acted like he wanted to find someplace to hide.
He got his ass cut at every level, and those two moderators don’t cut him any slack either. They kept calling him out on his bullshit he kept spewing. I loved every second of it!!!
I loved it, too! She was awesome and strong! He was his usual awful self, which was good to see. Yes, he truly looked old, beaten and small, didn't he? I was watching on MSNBC and afterwards they cut over to a focus group in Arizona that they'd had on before. They were undecided voters who had watched the Biden/T. debate and now this one with Kamala, and were giving their opinion. A couple of young guys were still sort of on the fence but leaning strongly towards Trump, one gal won't vote for either of them, one woman wanted more info on Kamala, and if I recall correctly, the rest had switched over to Kamala! And I'm thrilled about Taylor Swift! She's one smart cookie, for sure! Bless her heart for doing that - she'll surely be a great influence on many. And a great photo of her and her cat, too! :) It was a great night!
I watched that on MSNBC also with the group in AZ. I don’t understand people. I truly don’t. That young lady that said she still will not vote for either one, and the two young men who were ‘leaning’ toward Trump.
What the hell do they need to see, hear, read, be told, for them to understand what a Trump presidency means for them, their lifestyles, their freedoms, everything. I truly do not understand their responses to this debate. Actually one, if not the absolute best, I’ve ever watched.
Harris handed Trump his ass in a basket. Had him on the defensive the entire debate. She proved to the American people exactly what kind of prosecutor she was. She backed up her statement she’s made at her rallies. “Believe me when I say, I know Donald Trump’s type!”
I watched our local news and they interviewed some Republicans at a watch party who thought he did "great!" and was "just amazing" how he "laid out his policy ideas". I kept wondering if they were watching the same debate I watched and, since they were watching in a bar, WTF were they drinking?? They looked like your average, buttoned-up, right-wing, conservative nut-jobs, not a bunch of drunks off the street in red MAGA hats. I'll never understand what they see in him.
I never will understand what 42% of this country sees in this clown. As for his ‘plan’, he didn’t discuss any plan last night. So there’s no telling what the hell they were drinking, smoking, snorting, or shooting up!
Something else, Mary. Trump continues to say he knows nothing about ‘Project 2025’. His damn VP pick, the idiot that can’t make sense from one rally to the next, and changes his ways as often, wrote the damn Forward for that 992 page waste of paper!!!
Something else. Trump doesn’t have any ‘policies’. All he has is one simple rule:
“If it benefits me, I’m going to do it, or have it done.”
That’s his damn rule. These people saying they like his policies, haven’t a clue and have been living under a rock for the last 8 frigging years. Trump didn’t have the first policy during his entire 4 years in office. Out infrastructure went to hell, he did away with every foreign nation trade agreement we had, pulled us out of NATO, pulled us out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, and everything else we had been connected to with our allies, trade partners. He climbed in bed with Putin, Xi, and with Kim Jon Un of North Korea.
It’s because of him that Russia has attacked Ukraine, and the Hamas went into Israel and slaughtered almost 2,000 Israeli civilians. He personally gave the top secret classified information to Putin for Israel, Ukraine, and the EU. After that, Putin tried to take over Ukraine. Putin gave Iran the information on Israel so the Hamas could attack them. Trump’s a damn treasonous traitor, and a low life rapist, snake!
If only the people with eyes that cannot see, ears that refuse to hear, hearts that cannot feel, and minds that cannot think could be healed so that they could enjoy what you bring to us.
