Re the recent U.S. elections, things will be put to rights by those who have sworn allegiance to the US Constitution though the Devil may bar the way. Blood and sacrifice have been spent to keep this bond and we must not fail. I believe that President Biden will fulfill his oath to protect this Country against all enemies, foreign and domestic. He has the power and the obligation. We will know his answer soon.

If they weren’t, and they abided by the laws, and Constitution, we wouldn’t be in this mess. He’d be in prison right now, and not have been granted immunity for his actions while President by the damn Supreme Court.

Your sentiments are very similar to mine. I have been an independent for over 40 years and had never donated time, money or effort for any candidate…until this one. I did so, despite the tacky crude and rude way Cool Joe was treated by the Dem elitists, because of the clear and present danger to democracy that the demented fat orange clown presented.
In my post mortem I was impressed by the excellent campaign that Kamala led even though there were a couple of things that she had included. She had a 100 days to overcome much including the racism, misogyny and voters unfamiliar with her. You would think that with a $1B war chest and thousands of volunteers it would be a slam dunk and first step toward getting the FOCer behind bars.
Then I saw the numbers (with CA still counting). EV was 312-226 and most significantly 10M who voted Democrat in 2020 were no shows this time. When I saw the voter breakdown I thought that even though I have one or with luck two presidential elections remaining I will never waste time again to protect the unwashed masses, and I will not have any concern when the consequences of their inactions and actions materialize over the next four years.
By profile, as a senior white male from a redneck background and family I should have gone MAGAt. There’s just something about the US Constitution, rule of law and fairness for all that compels me to work to protect it. Now I think why should I even try? I just hope that I am not part of the collateral damage that cheats be out of a couple of the last years on the Blue Marble Hotel.

Sosnik's report captures the blunt reality: "The 2024 election marks the biggest shift to the right in our country since Ronald Reagan's victory in 1980. ... [Trump's victory this week] was due to support from a multi-racial working-class group of voters." The coalition includes:
* One in three voters of color voted for Trump.
* Trump increased his support with Hispanic voters by double digitscompared to 2020.
* Trump carried Hispanic men by 10 points

Here is my reaction Daniel, based on these numbers: Isn’t it great that since 1964 so many did so much for Civil Rights so these wonderful voters listed above could have the freedom to vote as they wanted?
Someone mentioned that “They even talked to illegal (still) immigrants rooting for trump – “I’ve been here for decades! He’s not talking about us! He’s talking about the new riff-raff crossing the border! Throw them out!” That person completely ignored Trump promising to deport 20 million people (do the math; that includes anal openings like you).”
It reminded me of the interview of an Hispanic couple that I saw several days before the election. She mentioned that they had come here illegally and worked hard to get citizenship but today her children born here now were unable to buy a house. They were going to go MAGAt because he had an economic plan and was a strong leader.
She goes on in response to another question that it was good to have the deportations because all those people were criminals who were running away from something. Almost wonder why she didn’t use the slur for Hispanics.
Then when she is asked about her extended family she replies that there are some who have green cards and others are undocumented. Then she’s asked if she is worried about them. Replied “no because they are hard workers and not criminals and he said they would only deport the criminals”.
Would the demented FOCer lie to them? Guess not according to their vote. If it was not so pathetic I would throw in a ROTFLMAO here.

Biden is still our President and in addition, though he may not use them, he has the extraordinary power granted to him by the Supreme Court.
