To me, Diane, this is as plain as the nose on your face. Yet, no media is going this route!

I’m so disgusted with media worrying about ratings more than promoting Democracy and punishment for all those involved January 6. All Benedict’s!

If we lose our democracy it will be as much the fault of our court system as the media’s. Taking FOREVER to even start an investigation, all the delays, appeals & counting on a jury to be impartial, honest, & intelligent means that big wigs are rarely even tried much less actually punished. (& I haven’t even mentioned corrupt judges)

HulitC, this American court system has always been this way. Honestly, it always pissed me off. You have no idea how many hours I spent in a courthouse on my days off because I had to be there for a trial on some of my arrest, and it was either postponed, or delayed, or rescheduled because of bullshit the defense attorneys pull. All their ‘motions’ and crap that makes the judge have to consider, give the prosecution a time to reply, etc. All it is is delaying the inevitable. A prison sentence.

But, yes, the media allowing the defense to try these cases in the ‘court of public opinion’ is wrong. In my opinion the media shouldn’t cover a damn thing this POS does.
